Fliss Mayo & Zebb Dempster are @_dualmonitor_ , a London based duo whose envelope pushing productions have earned them the moniker ’The UK Genre Alchemists’ from Rinse FM. Their open format approach to music also translates into their kaleidoscopic DJ sets which thread twisted low slung UK Bass, skitter step IDM, bass shaking tech-bow and zoned out dub and jungle. Since 2023, Dual Monitor has toured worldwide with performances at Glastonbury Festival, Love International, Outlook, and across Poland, Copenhagen, Paris, Croatia, Milan and Rome. They’ve performed alongside Pearson Sound, Two Shell, Call Super, Objekt, NVST and Ross From Friends, while their eclectic discography has been supported across the board from heavyweights including Ben UFO, Darwin, Bicep, Roza Terenzi, OM Unit, HAAi, Ploy and many more. Thus far, the duo have released on TraTraTrax, Nerve Collect, Rinse, SPE:C, Cloudcore, Hardline, EC2A, N-Face, Elicit, Nehza, Amity and Obligated Records as well as a plethora of self-released dubs for charity. This year sees them touring new territories and expanding their sound, with some exciting new releases set to be announced soon. Catch Dual Monitor this Friday, May 15th at Podlasie Club. This Saturday, April 18th. Tickets on RA at link in bio. @shantiism : Shanti has made textured waves in Chicago’s techno scene with her curation of dark, sinister, and ethereal soundscapes. Enamored by the liminal dynamics of sound, she cohosts Otherworldly Ambiguity with Scum.ee –an experience that is centered around the phenomenon of existing in between and outside of pre-existing concepts and rigid categories. She is also a member of techno collective Research & Development and hosts a monthly radio show, “Liminal Radio” on WIIT 88.9 FM featuring thoughtful artists at the core of Chicago’s underground music scene. Shanti has had the privilege of warming up and closing out dancefloors for incredibly inspirational artists such as DJ Nobu, Rrose, Polygonia, Perc, Ø [Phase], Function, Aurora Halal, Mozhgan, Lady Starlight, Black Light Smoke, Esther Dune, Zenker Brothers, Noncompliant, Xtin, and more. This past year, Shanti has expanded her surreal storytelling beyond Chicago by playing in Amsterdam, L.A., Detroit, Phoenix, and notable Midwest festivals such as Minnesota’s The Great Beyond and Madison’s Musique Électronique. In the spring of 2026, her collaboration track will be released on the upcoming Research & Development compilation. @josh_tong_ : Josh Tong is a classically trained artist & DJ specializing in textural, atmospheric & ethereal techno. He takes a methodical and intentional approach to his sets reflecting the ways in which classical concertos are structured and fabricated. This curious approach illustrates the harmonious flow of energy between melodic elements and atmospheric tones through deeply layering tracks creating soundscapes rather than a singular sound. @otherself__ : Otherself is a Chicago-based sound explorer unafraid of venturing into left field. His sound is engineered for dance & drenched in psychedelia. Expect sets filled with cheeky prog cuts, chugging techno & breaks. His productions form imaginative compositions filled with assertive percussion & lysergia. As a Lake Effect Records resident, he has helped organize countless free parties throughout the city, developing his portfolio as an integral part of our blooming community.

He blends styles like trip hop, detroit techno, trance, jersey club, & chicago house to get the people to release their feelings on the dancefloor.  Daru has experienced multiple rave communities across the country since he was seventeen and found his true self within them. Seeing the joy it brings, he hopes others can find themselves within his own sound. @sassmooth : Sassmouth is a DJ based in her longtime adopted home, Chicago. She playfully mixes all kinds of records with a focus on techno, house, acid and electro sounds. She created her label god particle as a homage to this style of DJing- a place for friends to showcase music that connects the dots between all these styles of dance music. She is a rave mom and real mom and co-runs Walking and Falling- a mentor program for woman and non-binary music enthusiasts that want to learn to DJ. If you don’t see her in the booth she is very likely dancing her ass off by the front left speaker. @tikivonte : TiKi Vonté is Chicago’s bluest diva and biggest liar! Hailing all the way from somewhere, she’s taken over the scene by storm! In just her approximate amount of years of life she’s been able to win RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10, The Masked Singer, and Flavor of Love season 2. And now she’s here to turn it out just for you! @_loqum : Loqum is a Chicago-based producer and DJ originally from Istanbul, Turkey. Their distinctive hybrid style effortlessly bridges techno, footwork, and jungle, crafting an engaging sonic tapestry defined by syncopated grooves, intricate melodies, & rhythmic vocal textures. Initially gaining prominence in Chicago’s vibrant hip-hop & R&B scenes, Loqum’s production credits include collaborations with rising drill artists such as Mello Buckzz, Star Bandz, & Fendi. Transitioning into the city’s techno circuit, they quickly established a presence. In 2025, they collaborated with Teklife footwork pioneer DJ Spinn on The Era Footwork Crew’s “Let The Record Reflect.” Loqum independently released their latest EP “Jungle Juke Jams” in January 2025.

This Saturday, April 18th - tickets on RA at link in bio. @jumpsource : Jump Source – composed of Priori and Patrick Holland – venture through various strains of dance music in the studio, focusing on intuitive long-form recordings full of quirks. Though their independent work differs, the through-line of influence can be heard across the JS catalogue, and through their choice of records in the club. @d____strange : D. Strange is a techno archivist and textural obsessive based in Chicago, IL. With music released on Tram Planet, Tresor and his own imprint LO·TEK·NO COMM. he continues to explore the loose but ultimately magnetic thread between club music and left-field electronics.
