Hello!
My name is Niko and I make wigs for ball-jointed dolls. I am a licensed cosmetologist and I previously worked as a theatre costumer. I work a full time job on top of doing doll wigs, so my commission schedule is inconsistent and projects make take several months.

First batch of carryover wigs from New York. I needed more time and supplies to make these happen.
The pastels ombre wig I reworked and had enough left over wefts to make a new ponytail fall.
The purple wig is a synthetic mohair. Not a fiber I’m super into, but it has its charm.
I’m really feeling how these came out.

I’m so bad about posting the wigs I make for my personal collection.
Tinsel in a curly wig is so tricky because it curls differently and will hang weird. But I was adamant that Sunflower has curly hair so I will deal with the mess.
Please meet Sesame (KD Icarus, gray) and Sunflower (KD Hanael, tan)! They are both former Custom House heads that Luts obtained and sold as limiteds. Inspired by the moon and sun. I want Sunflower to always glow a little bit in pictures.
Bianca painted them for me and returned them at @nycdollcon . It was the first time I didn’t see any faceup teasers but I trusted her skills as an artist so it honestly didn’t even occur to me to even ask. I’m still in awe with how cute they are. I think the suspense made the reveal all the more amazing somehow. Like I’m more attached to them because of it???

I spent most of my time at my booth cutting wigs so here’s a bunch of doll pics I took decorated with purikura effects.
I tried to cut as many wigs as I could up until closing. Then my thinning shears broke!!! Which is fine, they are like 15+ years old and survived cosmetology school and all my terrible choices since.
