I got the opportunity to share my work with amazing young artists.
I illustrated a book I’m working on (details to come).
I worked on my new Collection of Wearable Sculpture.
And of course I befriended a construction team and used their equipment for another tutorial (video in the works).

Another great evening at BMAC discovering the art of our current artist in residency Grayson Cox @graysoncoxstudio . His multimedia practice is truly inspiring, from printing to public sculptures, installations and paintings, with his inquisitive mind and thirst for collaborations he has made some incredible works over the years. For Grayson art is a gift, to be shared generously with whoever is open to receiving, whether by stepping in and finishing the rubbing from his printing blocks or adding his or her interpretation, thus another dimension to the piece. It’s been amazing having Grayson and his wife Hollis, a drama therapist, with us at BMAC this past week, sharing ideas and thoughts about many pressing issues and topics, as well as the beauty and sunshine of our little Blue Mountain corner.
Kids Art History Club is out for the summer with some long term members about to embark on new adventures! This has been another great year of learning and creating 🎨🩵

This spring we had an immense pleasure welcoming the talented and jubilant Mercedez Rex at our BMAC artist residency. She was so passionate about her marbling work that we organized two marbling workshops where she taught the @kidsarthistoryclub the history and technique of creating the most vivid, happy and vibrant prints and postcards. Everyone had such an amazing time experimenting with ink and colours, making them into waves, flowers, stipes, petals and all the other imaginable shapes and blobs. The best part is that once everyone let creativity flow the results were all so beautiful and personal.
