I can absolutely understand that people are leaving this place. But, until further notice, I will not.
I came here because of a friend and I have found so many more. I have connected, created, learned, developed and evolved over the years and I will not give this place without a fight.
Yes, I am aware that I am supporting one of the most dangerous persons and his companies, thank you.
But, until I get removed, I will offer opposition. As I know, we are more. We just need to be and stay visible. Democracy is worth fighting for.

Malstrain genestealer cow, hand sculpted by the one and only @4ydra
When 4ydra sold his original genestealers cow, I was too slow to get it 😢 However, he very kindly offered to make a second, and for a very reasonable price.
I've not had a lot of hobby time lately, hardly any at all in fact, but now I've hurt my back and the desk chair seems the most comfortable spot for me at the moment, so I seized the opportunity to do some painting 😂
This thing was an absolute delight to paint, with so many fun and weird textures. Using a combination of airbrush, drybrush, sponge and washes this thing almost felt like it painted itself!
I need to paint my malstrains alpha soon, and then I'll have a whole happy family of weird genestealers - group photos coming one day I guess? 🤔
Shout-out to @hive_fleet_harbinger for the basing bits I used here, they're a perfect fit for weird aliens!
The campaign day for my first #omentide even is getting closer and closer and the To-Do list refuses to shrink... But very slowly things start to click into place. Time to for some meta thoughts.

My second Carcass token fir #omentide . This one was inspired by a French member of the community, who had built a terrain piece with a hanging fish. When I visited the Homebase store of the @kiepencon podcast in Münster, I stumbled upon this zombie shark by @reaperminiatures . A little headswap later, to make it less shaky and more "abomination from the deep" and I got a perfect lure for these beach-leeches. #tabletop
In #omentide , building your sect is great fun. Having a cool board is great as well. But making those scenario tokens has become another favorite of mine. Especially that once scenario, where something horrible and dead is washed ashore, the sects gather to get their piece of "God", while fending of nasty parasites and opposing sects. This build was so much fun. Basically a big shell, some beads and balls and a good chuck of putty from @krautcover
Things are a bit rough right now. So, to keep myself motivated, I just keep doing things. Here is one the many terrain pieces I am currently working on for an #omentide campaign day..I am building 3 tables at the same time, including the scenario tokens and all that.
I was gifted recently about 30kg of shells, so I can use them now very generously. My idea here was, to use the rather known form of the shells, but have them fused together into being part of the landscape. Hot glue and stippled on wall filler were perfect to help me blend them together. And those wonderful green hues of algae on the last two pictures are the wonderful Moss from Dirty Down by @goblinshut
Guess who's making fish people again! Finally, a fifth member of the Feast - the Infected. Sometimes, eating the flesh of unfathomable horrors just gives you horrible parasites.
