A lot of people still don’t really know what to make of the Grenadier platform yet. After this trip, we do. Two Trialmasters and a Quartermaster on rough trails over several long days - literally zero failures. We’re probably not going to be done talking about this trip for a while. Not because things went wrong, but because everything went so incredibly right. Still more to come.

We’ve got a lot more footage coming, but here’s a quick preview. The Grenadiers did exactly what we expected them to do, which sounds boring until you watch where we drove them. There’s something satisfying about spending days on rough trails with vehicles that still feel composed driving back into town afterward. More soon. Some of the best clips are still being edited.

Top of the World with three Grenadiers. From a distance, they might look built - but stickers can be misleading. Really, the changes are pretty mild. Upgraded suspension from @4x4proyect , supporting components, slightly larger tires, and our black APEX truck running a bit more power through the OEM hardware. That’s it. This trail has a reputation for a reason. Big exposure, constant ledges and rocky slopes, and zero room for mistakes. Our biggest takeaway wasn’t how far we pushed these vehicles, it was how little it took to get here. These things are wildly capable, right out of the box, and they’re a pleasure to modify. When we got back to the trailhead, we aired back up and drove away, unscathed, straight into town at highway speeds like nothing happened. Hard not to have immense respect for what INEOS has created here. Stout axles, simple, and a platform that rewards thoughtful upgrades instead of needing huge adjustments before it decides to perform. Top of the World, Moab - at 40+ mph. From the air it looks smooth, but on the ground it’s ledges, chatter, and constant punishment. These trucks aren’t just surviving it, though. They’re dominating it. That’s the @4x4proyect setup doing what it’s supposed to do. Valving, control, composure. Big thanks to @_flarespace_ for making the Spain connection happen and getting this system in our hands. This was one of those trips you don’t forget. APEX Grenadier is out here with the team in Moab and with @4x4proyect and @warner_ineos_grenadier . Another solid day through Fins and Things - great performance out of these rigs. Zero complaints. Managed to grab a few shots during the run. This isn’t even close to all of them, so keep an eye out. More are definitely coming. 🛞: @kristianrenellc

Last month we upgraded our suspension set up. Where the stock Sprinter / Hymer set up was too soft in the rear, we bottomed out many times. Overland Campers replaces all of our shocks and installed Proyect 4x4’s Advance kit with coilovers in the back. These came with a serious reinforcement package for the chassis to cope with the difference in forces. Results are amazing, cant wait to full load the van up and experience some proper offroad with this set up!

Alright, quick rip through the Grenadier again, but “live” this time. We built this one the way we think they should come from the factory. Suspension, power, stance, drivability…we didn’t just throw random parts at it, and it feels like it makes way more sense now when you drive it.
