*The prototype*
I wanted to share a bit of behind the scenes during the MOTU project I worked on recently, a 26-inch Battle Cat that I designed and created with my ape fusion elements.
The original idea was to have a 12-inch He-Man able to stand next to Battle Cat and look absolutely epic as a display piece. From proportions to stance, everything was designed with that shelf presence in mind.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it commercially viable, so I made the tough call to pull it from the collection before release. That said… I still think he looks pretty sick 😄
Maybe this version stays a one-off, maybe something similar happens in the future, who knows. Just wanted to share it here with fellow MOTU lovers who might appreciate the concept.
*This is our first sample prototype. Since the entire project is self funded, we had to make a few adjustments and reduce some parts due to cost limitations.
