Instructor vs teacher. The difference matters so expectation from Student to teacher/ Instructor is clear.
Teachers/ Instructors: Be mindful of how you market your class. IE don’t market “training” if you are solely instructing choreography.

We are in month 3 of our freestyle training. This month is all about building our physical ability.

I’ve been teaching for a while & there is one statement I hear too often from individuals who have been learning for a longgggg time. “Why haven’t I learned this?”. It’s unfortunate to hear this from someone who has invested in their growth.
If you take choreo for the experience then thats fine. Live your life in them classes. If your expectations are to grow. Demand more. Inquire about practical approaches.
Teachers… please do the culture a solid. Go deeper than your choreography. Take time to structure a class that gives your students tools to create with their own voices.
