Through this prolonged hug, layers of intimacy emerge-gentle, complex, and full of contradiction. With precise and poetic movement, HUGS asks: where does closeness end and where do boundaries begin? The work is a soft journey into consent, care, and safe encounters. HUGS explores intimacy, connection, and consent through movement. This trauma-sensitive dance project features a trio performance on continuous embrace, followed by an open exchange with the public, workshops, and a documentary. We are looking for one FLINTA* dancer based in the Frankfurt am Main region who is interested in exploring trauma-sensitive methods. The project will focus on physical contact awareness and boundary communication to create a trio performance, workshops, and a documentary.
