I first met @jake_deaner at a track session back at the start of this year. I thought, “this guy is pretty quick for 18”. The following month I saw him rip a 5k ski test at a 1:51 avg absolutely burying himself. I thought “this guy could be seriously good at Hyrox”. Yesterday, I got the absolute pleasure of doing a Hyrox (his 2nd ever!!) with Jake after a tough training block together. And right now I’m thinking “this guy is seriously good at Hyrox. Just how good can he become…?”
Jake - I f*cking loved that. Cannot wait to watch you become an elite athlete in this sport. Will be supporting you the whole way. Just need to work on your line stepping ;)
