A successful first edition has brought back âChecked Outâ to @harborsvintage and @3rdspacehonolulu this May 8th, starting at 7 p.m. The premise remains the same: four-on-the-floor grooves ranging from deep house (Moodymann & Luomo) to disco (Robson Jorge, Lincoln Olivetti, & Donna Summer). Featuring some of Hawaiâiâs most talented sound curators in the local after-hours and bass scene, âChecked Out Vol. 2â intends to bring the underground dance scene with prime-time audiences.
