i’d like to give a little introduction to say
hi! my name is erin michi and this lil business - michi macarons - is my love and struggle from 2020’s pandemic lockdown turned into passion.
i started baking during the pandemic lockdown as a way to keep sane and channel my creativity into something ive not really tried before. i didn’t know where this would go or if it would remain a hobby but my husband (boyfriend then) convinced me to step outside my comfort zone and give michi macarons a chance to see some light.
to this day ive been able to bake for parties, weddings and now a market!!
im so excited for what this next chapter has to offer and im stoked to have each of you along for the journey !

i also had their salt butter bread for the first time, which is truly a hidden gem there. you HAVE to try for $1.60 🫨
@michi.macarons also released a new strawberry macaron which is sooo cute and summery vibes~ my favorite is still the ube and lemon tho 🙂↕️

Erin Goforth is the founder of @michi.macarons . What began as a creative outlet during the 2020 lockdown quickly became a passion project that bloomed into a business. Erin started baking as a way to stay grounded and express her creativity—and never imagined it would grow into something more.
Inspired by her late angel bunnies and encouraged by her husband, Erin poured love, patience, and dedication into the delicate art of macaron making. She describes macarons as a labor of love—sensitive to everything from mixing technique to the weather—but her favorite part isn’t just the baking. It’s sharing.
“Gift giving is my love language,” she says. “And my love is in every macaron I make.”
From baking for parties and weddings to selling at local markets, Erin’s dream is to one day run Michi Macarons full-time and support her family doing what she loves most—spreading joy, one sweet bite at a time.
