Last show of Swamplesque Australian tour 2026 tonight.
And we are ending where we started this 2026 tour in early February (and where Swamplesque began in 2020) in Perth.
It has been an incredible time- 17 exciting, nerve wrecking, scary, fun and joyous weeks.
We performed over 50 shows (between Swamplesque the original and Swamplesque 2) visiting every state and territory spreading goey, campy, swampy joy.
This tour was extra special as I got to perform swamplesque in two places very dear to my heart for the first time- Canberra, where I began performing burlesque over ten years ago; and Newcastle, where I grew up and where I now again live.
Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and came to see our shows.
It is the greatest privilege and honour to be able to share silliness and fun with audiences every night. And I can’t wait to do it again tonight!

I was fortunate enough to play a small role in documenting the evolution of this show and following sold-out development showings last year it's now showing at @artshouse for a very limited season in all its fully realised, main stage splendour.
Specials World Premiere at Arts House is a story about Simon and Cheryl who were once at Special School together (and through a quirk of fate, they soon will be again).
When they travel back in time to their days as students, they are once more fighting the forces that showed them the real cost of being Special: the evil headmistress, the scary nurse and the compromised teachers and parents.
Featuring disabled performers and based on real life experiences of Special School in Australia, Specials is a comedic and confronting depiction of the different routes Special Ed takes children on – a world largely hidden from sight.
I urge all of you to make time to see this incredible work - written by @superbushpig (Kath Duncan), directed by @tgormz (Tansy Gorman) and presented by @artshouse .

This year marks the 15 Year Anniversary of the coming into existence of a little “can do” company called 3 Fates Media.
I did a quick calculation last night and I think that over the last 15 years, I’ve taken close to 4 million pics of everything from theatre, musicals, burlesque, circus, cabaret, variety, live music, promo, headshots, landscapes, street and still life photography.
Not sure where the time has gone to be honest but not a day goes by that I’m not thankful for the blessings and opportunities that have come my way over the past 15 years and most importantly, the friends I’ve made.
The most common thing I get asked these days is “when are you going to have an exhibition of your work” or “when are you going to put out a book”? If you know me well enough, you’ll know that’s not the sort of thing that drives me but . . . . maybe it’s time (please don’t hold me to that!)
What I really want to do is send out a big thank you to everyone I’ve ever worked with and to maybe pay it forward by making 2026 a year of kindness and generosity by offering more opportunities for people to work with me regardless of any socio and/or economic barriers they may face.
So, be on the lookout in 2026 for a lot more posts from me with offers to collaborate, hang out and general free stuff!
In the meantime, keep on making art x
