📣CALL FOR ARTIST FACILITATORS
The Foundation for Contemporary Art – Ghana in collaboration with The Line (

@sergeclottey @afrogallonism ) is looking for two artist facilitators to deliver workshop sessions to 6 primary schools in Accra.
As part of parallel projects in London and Accra, the Line in collaboration with the Foundation for Contemporary Art – Ghana has developed a series of workshops inspired by Ghanaian artist Serge Attukwei Clottey’s work.
The workshops are building on connections that have been established between schools in London and Accra through Totally Thames’ Story of Water programme and form part of The Line’s ongoing collaborative project Longitudinal Dialogues.
Through the workshops, pupils in six primary schools in Newham and Accra will develop wearable artworks reusing everyday recyclable objects.
The commission of this new work, and accompanying programme with 6 primary schools in London and 6 primary schools in Accra, will present urgent and innovative responses to global issues including migration, water supply and climate change - engaging the young people who have the agency to engender positive change in the future.
The artist facilitators will be key in supporting the schools in Accra to make their artworks whiles working closely and collaboratively with artist facilitators in Newham.
