my experience with imposter syndrome, depicted by brien parish and joseph raya.

my first dance film, the first project i’m immensely proud of. imposter syndrome is something nearly every artist will feel at some point in their journey, but for me, the intensity of it is almost debilitating. enough to make me constantly want to give up pursuing anything creative.
i have never felt like a “good enough” artist, a “good enough” dancer, a “good enough” person, and i assume everyone else thinks the same of me. i don’t know what caused this mindset, but i’ve always had it and unfortunately probably always will. but, what exactly is “good enough”? who decides that? you? me? what matters is if you love what you do. who you are.
very proud to have this be my introduction to the world as an artist, shared with two people i cherish very much.
thank you, thank you, thank you a million times over to everyone who has supported me, whether it has been since day 1, or within the past 10 minutes. thank you. from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
