Had the opportunity to design the UI for Stray by BlueTwelve Studio, which released last year for Playstation and PC.
When Annapurna + BlueTwelve approached me, most of the UX was set, but they needed help defining a look for the in-game drone’s UI that fit with the world they’d created. I designed multiple concepts (a few early ones shown here) and ended up designing the menus and trophy icons as well.
The games picked up multiple nominations & awards, including Best Art Direction, Best Visual Art, and Game of the Year. To see my first release in the same headlines as Elden Ring is obviously surreal, but when I first saw the tech demo years back as HK Project on a small dev blog, I knew it would be something special. Fulfilled a years-long dream to contribute to it and work with the team.
