I found @groupcritpowerdynamics amazing Speedrun series the same way a lot of the magazine has come together, via tumblr. I immediately knew I wanted to feature her in this issue if she would let me. Jade is an immensely talented cross-disciplinary artist specialising in drawing and illustration and I’m very lucky and grateful she replied to my random email and allowed me to reproduce some of her works.
Sheng Lam (@8bitwizard ) is an exceptionally talented freelance concept artist. His clients include names such as Valve, Dontnod and Bad Robot games. In his own words he "draws hard surface stuff."

Jack King-Spooner made Duujanah, a beautiful, intricate, ambiguous and powerful game that made me tweet “Dujanah mecha walk sound for GOTY” in late 2017. Since then I’ve been a huge fan of everything he makes.
A multidisciplinary artist, musician, designer and maker, Jack’s work is in my opinion some of the most interesting things being done in games today. For Raid v2 Jack let me talk to him for a few hours via Skype one day, me in my parent’s home in Ireland and him in his house in Scotland. We chatted about games that aren’t fun on purpose, publishing deals and how Journey isn’t the pinnacle of artistic indie games. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did hearing it.
