Over the years, I've dreamt about building a car to run in the 24 Hours of Lemons series. I'm grateful to have met @natepach , who messaged our group the day after bantering about building a car with a few Facebook Marketplace listings nearby.
The grit, hard work, and ingenuity of this group in building, engineering, or sheer elbow grease was something to witness. Even better, they're all lightning quick behind the wheel, which helped bring our E46 330Ci home at the end of this weekend after 14 hours on track, 207 laps around Road America, and over 830 miles of wheel-to-wheel racing.
I'm still buzzing after the weekend, and I'm hooked on racing. Looking forward to working on the car to get it ready for the next race. Here's to @garagebeersracing and many laps ahead.
