JEFF BERLIN HATES IT… But thousands of you love technical exercises and you’re completely right for two reasons: 1) Your body, in this case your #fingers always perform similar movements when playing, it helps enormously and is somehow logical to perfect them. 2) Another aspect is the one I already described in a comment on #Berlin to which, strangely enough, there was no answer 😬 If these #technicalexercises are internalized deeply enough, they no longer require your full attention, which means that other areas of the brain are trained and the movements become second nature. 3) because of point 2 you have more time to practice #vocabulary #arpeggios #scales etc. OK, 3 reasons 😅 and a tipp: Go your own way, don’t let yourselves be persuaded!
