Last night @sfpubliclibrary #nightofideas Typically in drag culture, the artist receives tips from the audience. On this night, my IDEA was to hand out love letters, instead of receiving, I wanted to give. In this world full of hatred and prejudice, I wanted to center my piece around the idea of spreading love. I wrote love quotes and handed them out and it gave me joy and hopefully inspired my audience to spread love too. Thank you @pillowsdrag This was an incredible experience for me to perform @kehlani #folded as a release from all the traumatic relationships I have been in. I kept clothing from all my exes as reminders of them when they couldn’t be around and as I looked back I had a stack of clothing that held space of all the lost love in my life. So as I move on to 2026, I hope for new and greater love and throw out all these items that now hold negative energy and I look forward to a truer love to come.
