Initiation, the opening look of the collection, references the first stage of a nuclear explosion—an irreversible beginning. The weapon detonates, setting off a deadly chain of reactions.
Crafted from heavy winter wool to evoke a nuclear winter, the coat combines protection and symbolism through its insulating, water-resistant qualities and high structured collar. An asymmetrical front fold, controlled by button closures, introduces tension within the silhouette. Gathered, distressed ruffles add texture, as well as signal the start of something much worse.
