Harry โSugeโ Jenko(๐ธ
@bobrosenberg300 ) is one of the most notable, if not the most notable manager/label figure in the underground since the Nextel era tbh. His hold on the market been crazy. Whether through management or artists actually signed to his label, heโs been involved with acts like Rich Amiri, Lil Shine, Jaydes, RexV2, and more recently rising plugg artist Lade, plus a long list of other successful names that came up in that same lane.
We really saw how deep his presence was around the middle of last year during the whole Lade vs Krby situation. Both were part of that new plugg wave coming up at the time. Originally Shine was supposed to perform at that Tubman show too, flyers even dropped, then got taken down not long after. When the event actually happened, things went left fast. Lade ended up getting into a physical altercation with Krby at the show and it turned bad quick for Krby. From videos we caught Harry also in whoopin dog ahh too ๐ญ
After that night a lot of talk started going around online saying the whole thing felt set up, like they already knew how it was gonna go down. Some even think thatโs why Shine got pulled from the show last minute. None of that ever got confirmed though, thatโs all reddit talk and stories from people who claim they were there. Still, moments like that just added to the lore around Harry and the way his camp moves. Not to mention alot of his artists legal issues.
Controversial situations like the Tubman incident only made people pay more attention to how he operates. What makes it crazier is how young he is compared to the position he holds. Somehow he understood the underground market early, figured out the formula, and ran it over and over with different artists. Different sounds, different waves, but the same system keeps working.
Whether people respect it or hate it, his influence on this current underground run is hard to deny. You keep seeing the same patternโฆ new artist pops up, gets around that circle, and next thing you know they everywhere. In a space where most managers come and go quick, his name keep coming up every year, every wave. The lore just keep building. ๐๐๏ธ #deletingsoon
