PM Andrew Holness has announced that close to 500 persons have been relocated to shelters to ensure their safety.
He stated that the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPEM) has confirmed that sufficient supplies and resources are available for persons in shelters.
The Prime Minister said he is awaiting a report on how well people are doing inside the shelters, and if they feel comfortable and safe.
He was speaking during a Disaster Risk Management update earlier today (July 3) at the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management
