Work on my next record "Uh-oh" has begun! This grunge folk record is the culmination of about a year and a half of songwriting and I think it's some of my best work. All along the way @mothrasunshine has been learning these tunes and bringing them to life with his virtuosic drumming. We just completed a marathon session across 4 days to complete drum takes for 10 songs. Much more to do, but the hardest part of the project is over - getting started. Two shows left for the year! Both at @firstnightnorthampton. I'll be playing a solo set at Memorial Hall at 4 PM. Catch me summoning the spirit of Elliott Smith in my grunge folk era as I play all of the songs on my next record "Uh-oh" front to back. And then at 7 PM @leafiesmusic will be on at First Churches' Lyman Hall for DIY theatrical rock shenanigans.

The songs exist between memories and dreams with confessional lyrics paired with surrealist imagery.On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, downtown Northampton will once again come alive with performances, fireworks, and celebrations in every corner of our city. For 40+ years, First Night Northampton has been New England’s premier New Year’s Eve arts festival — bringing together 10,000+ attendees, 100+ performances, and a spirit of joy that carries us into the new year. Tomorrow! I'm hosting a house show at Pink Edwards (dm for address) in Greenfield. One of my favorite bands @pocketvinyl will be playing, bringing their piano slam indie rock and live painting duo to western mass. Also! Nick Hathaway of @the.sosos will be joining the bill with his hooky and heartfelt indie rock. Nick graciously filled in for our friend Care O'Leary who sadly is unable to play due to illness. We hope to have them back at a later date. See ya at the show!

FRIDAY & SATURDAY - OCT. 31st & NOV. 1 - The Shea Theater, Great Falls, MAA Happening is an incredible immersive theater performance taking place Halloween weekend. The entire Shea Theatre will be transformed into another world - this year's theme is "The Bestiary." You can catch me as "Mittens Goodcat" along with many other performers throughout the night. A truly one of a kind art/ theater experience that blurs the lines between audience and performer. I'm on the main stage leading a song along with @cello_monkey on FRIDAY night.
