Celebrating one year. We set out to create a space for care, deliberate craft, and genuine connection. Watching that take shape this year, through the community that has grown around it, has meant more to us than we can fully express. The regulars, the conversations at the bar, the people who return for the feeling as much as the drink. We are grateful for the year and for every guest who walks through our doors. To mark this moment, we created something to share with you. A hojicha chocolate bar, shaped by the same intentions that guide everything we do. On Saturday, March 28, we will be offering a complimentary bar with every order in celebration of this year. Limited quantities available. Handcrafted with @fruitionchocolate .

A new year begins. This year, 12 found its home in New York City. We opened our doors at 54 Bond Street with a passion and deep appreciation for tea. Our intention was to carry forward the dedication, care, and respect of our Japanese partner by creating a space with real energy and soul. Through your overwhelming support, we’ve watched our vision slowly taking shape and have begun to find our rhythm. We feel inspired to have connected with a community that is just as enthusiastic as we are. To everyone who spent time with us, and those who warmly welcomed us into your routines: thank you. We are truly grateful to be here and beyond excited for what’s to come. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

After seasons of preparation, we are excited to introduce our two exclusive blends in partnership with the fifth-generation legacy of Hotta Katsutaro Shoten, crafted by award-winning tea master Haruhide Morita. Guided by the philosophy that tea is alive, Morita uses intuition and technique to create for those who seek depth and harmony. Each blend tells its own story of first-harvest leaves, revealing distinct and complex layers of flavor. Arriving in store on December 22, 2025. Limited quantities available. We joined our teams to inspire one another and strengthen the project from every angle. That’s why we partnered with our longtime friends @_cigue – the Paris-based architecture studio – to design @12.matcha ’s flagship: a space where identity is felt, not just seen.
