Check the poster & sear the deets into ur minds 👁️ It’s set to be a scorcher, so come down n keep toasted amidst these frosty arctic conditions outside ☃️🔥🫠 Given the time of year we’re using this opportunity to get a load of heads together for quite potentially the most ludicrous christmas party you’ve ever seen before. Think christmas classics, choir songs & ridiculous edits all mashed up with the whole gamut of electronic music n beyond, splashes of world & SWANA, bashment , indie , experimental turntablism, the list goes on…. As much as there’s a focus on the unconventional and silly, we’re also keeping it 💯 and doin up classic well curated dj mixes so all flavours are being catered for, but at the end of the day it’s all about coming together to celebrate the festivities, and to welcome a break away from the mundanities of capitalist existence. So come down, shake a leg n get some drinks in ya if thats ur thing 💅 Its a free one in a small intimate venue down at @bustermantis new mezzanine space (which we’re basically gunna turn into a christmas tree…😉) They’ll be a pot if u wanna chuck us any donations as all proceeds will be goin to a local charity that supports people going through homlessness. Life is better when ur green and with ur ride or die Without further ado…. new mix inbound 🛸🛸 Swipe>>>>> for some previews Trying to do something a lil bit different with this series and hoping to push the boat out and be more unconventional in terms of track selection & transitions for the next volume 👽 I’m kinda seeing it as an exercise in loosening myself from the rigid structures of club focused dj formats/styles that i’d gotten myself stuck in, if that makes any sense ?! This year has proved to break down quite a few barriers I’d held musically ( big up amazing friends/dj’s/artists/festivals for the inspiration and transformation !! ) So I’m ready to explore these new perspectives and ideas and hopefully make some interesting stuff from that. But a lot of what I’m playin in this series will be recent records I’ve got rummaging through bargain bins and then some I’ve collected over the past several years 👾👾 Less serious more fun and silly is the overall vibe I guess tho, with a slight lean towards keeping somewhat of a coherency maybe 🫨 There’s a lil bit more info on the mix description if u wanna find out more ✌️ Keep it locked til the next one !
