We are pleased to announce @0ll668 as the inaugural artist in residence at the renewed Luxor Sky Beam Gallery.
011668 is an American interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles exploring spirituality, mythology, and cosmogony through the digital age. Acknowledging industrial forces as our modern pantheon, 011668 unravels a contemporary creation myth while fusing elements of butoh dance, tokusatsu, and film noir.
011668 will curate a series of exhibitions throughout the Luxor property, as well as activations on and around the Las Vegas Strip from June 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026.
A note from the artist:
“I’m so excited for the opportunity to create and display work at Luxor, since Las Vegas plays a huge role in my family history. My grandmother, Kyoko Nakamura, first came to Las Vegas from Japan in 1960 as a dancer at the New Frontier Hotel and Casino. She eventually decided to immigrate and ended up raising her family in Los Angeles. Much of my work is based on the spiritual and artistic practices I learned from her.”
