Did a little silky chains pain this week. It's fun to see which of my simple dimple silks sequences I can tolerate on these. It is especially fun to make them look the opposite of how they feel 😄
With one small tweak with help from my students, this sequence has become so awesome and fun. Complete with a small drop at the end!
We will do this on Saturday, but it will be the end of the sequence and then I'll make a new beginning!
Trying out some of the sequencing for my beginner silks class on Saturday on chains. Who can guess where I felt this one the most? Winner gets 10 points.
Last week in class @dawnne.malia1313 did the very first moment of this, the double foothold, as a happy accident in part of our sequencing. It made me want to play with all of the possibilities for where it could go! This is one that I created from it during my training this week. I really like it! If you want to learn it, I'll be teaching it this coming Saturday in my int/adv class at 11:15!
I had one of those weird and wonderful days yesterday where chains did not feel very painful, so I decided to try out my "Stitches"climb - and lo and behold it worked! Until this point my body has not loved crocheting my leg on chains, so it was kind of cool to feel that ability unlock.
A couple of weeks ago someone asked me if it was possible to do a belay on silky chains, and I have been wanting to try but also a bit freaked out by the idea. I took this beginner belay wrap from my silks practice and tried it out!
