Japan. wow, this culture is absolutely mind-blowingly unlike any other place I’ve ever been. It is so immaculate, so organized, and so clean:
Intentionality rules over this place like a benevolent spirit that is orchestrating every tiny little detail:
so that even the cute dimples in the face of the tiny ceramic cat statue are perfectly placed, carved, and painted beautifully, in case any of us forgot that beauty is really what makes this whole world go round.
