I recently had the opportunity to travel to Thailand, stay at the resort where The White Lotus season three was filmed, and write about it for AD. It was an absolute dream, truly. Thailand is as gorgeous and friendly as everyone says, and I can’t wait to go back and explore more someday.
Does anyone else have extremely existential thoughts while traveling? Not a crisis, but a reevaluation of your life and what you want to get out of it, brought on by a forced shift in perspective. I felt this big time on this trip, especially since I was in the most amazing luxury accommodations while it feels like things are (in general) terrible. Thankfully I watched A Real Pain on the plane ride home and felt validated. Read more about my trip at the link in bio. ✌🏻
Great article, Rachel, and I watched Season 3 episode one this morning and it was fun to see the room where you stayed. Yes, travel shifts your perspective, and opens your eyes. Be sure to journal what you have seen. Take care-
