Daniel Oriahi set out to make a film that would travel and ‘The Weekend’ continues to do just that.
Following its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival( 2024) and subsequent screenings at the BFI London Film Festival and Screamfest Horror Film Festival, the thriller has now expanded its reach with a streaming release on HBO MAX across Central and Eastern Europe.
With its growing international footprint, the film appears to be fulfilling the very intention behind its creation, to find audiences beyond its home market.
‘The Weekend’ is currently available to stream in Nigeria on Circuit Streams and Kava, and on HBO Max across Central and Eastern Europe.
