Time for the yearly self portrait ✨
This year I used Procreate to mimic the style of marker drawing that I usually do in my sketchbook. Why? That is a good question.
I did also end up doing the same drawing with actual markers in my actual sketchbook so....
First image is procreate, second one is real markers.
Not sure which one I like more. What do you think?

It's time for another yearly self portrait!
I really haven't been drawing much this past year, so I don't feel like I have any interesting style development to showcase.
Instead, I just tried out a cool colour palette 🙃
I don't know if I like it or not. I have been having a hard time figuring out how to render my art in Procreate. I have tried a bunch of different brushes, but nothing seems to work well for me.
But it is so convenient to draw digitally on the couch, so I will just keep making mediocre digital art I guess ❤️

A bit late, but I wanted to share some work in progress of a set we made at @wiredfly a couple of years ago.
Swipe for closeups of some of my favorite things I made for the set, and a shot from the final film at the end.
It was for a short film version of Astrid Lindgren's Nils Karlsson Pyssling. The film was screened in cinemas last year for Christmas as a part of a collection of Astrid Lindgren stories.
We made the apartment and outdoor sets at Wiredfly, and sent it off to Hydralab who made the short in collaboration with Qvisten.
