I will be taking my last bow as Tina The Turner in the 1st National Tour September 10th in Portland. The love I have for this show and this team knows no limits. This was an almost impossible decision but if Tina has taught me anything it's that I've got to TRUST. Trust my work, trust my gut. Trust this wont be forever but for now its time to go home, create that work/life balance and see bout my bed!

This song was on my heart to sing for some time...and it took me a long while to get to it. But when I did it flew out of me hard and fast w/o much editing.

To me, this song is a cry for grace, for softness. For a break from all the reasons we have not to trust each other. Ive been single for 4 years now, and my soul is tired. Tired of fighting for something that should be easy. But if we start with a bit of tenderness, I think we would be surprised with what we'd find.
