This time, we had the beautiful opportunity to recreate their wedding cake many years later. As I worked on every detail, I couldn’t help but think about how special this work is to me… turning memories, love, and meaningful moments into something tangible.
There’s something magical about revisiting the moment that marked the beginning of a life together the start of a family, beautiful memories, and a shared journey through the years.
Being able to bring that memory back to life through cake was truly an honor for me.

People see the final result…but nobody saw the rehearsals.
Nobody saw the early mornings, the tears, the debt, the exhaustion, the fear, or the moments we wanted to quit but kept going anyway. Nobody sees what it really costs to build something from scratch with passion, purpose, and love.
In our case, also with so much care for quality, health, and doing things the right way, even when it takes more time, more work, and more sacrifice.
And still, there will always be people behind a screen saying you’re “the worst” over one bad experience, one bad day, or simply because they didn’t connect with you. And yes… sometimes those words hurt more than we’d like to admit.
But then I remember something: even the pyramids have bad Google reviews. 😂

After nearly a 3-hour drive through the rain, this beautiful cake arrived at its destination completely intact and perfectly stable.
I often get asked what the hardest part of creating a wedding cake is and honestly, it’s the delivery. The kind of stress that gives you a constant eye twitch.
To ensure the best results, I transport the cake in tiers and assemble it on-site, adding the final touches there. With the heat and humidity setting in, I’ve found that working with ganache is the most reliable approach it provides a silky texture, rich flavor, and a beautiful, heat-resistant finish.
At the end of the day, all I want is for this experience to be remembered with so much love, just like my own wedding 15 years ago. 🥰
