Feeding day is always my favorite day!
We feed everyone mice in different respective sizes to match each individual snakes age and size. Right now cloud and selkie are on pinkies/small, mushu on small, and saffron on mediums.
When they get a big bigger i'll start converting everyone to African Soft Fur, but for now everyone is pretty happy with their mice!
This is the most asked question i've had since owning Ball Pythons- they're safe guys! dw!
Even if you do get bitten, their bites feel like a little pin prick and rarely even draw blood😗
One of my favorite things to do with my snakes is to let them free roam. I mostly do this with my bigger snakes, bones / saffron. This is a video from a free roaming session Bones had back in November.
I let them free roam my room more often since it's a better controlled area, but i let them check out the garden from time to time with strict supervision.
Free roaming is really good for their snake brains! As they are exposed to new things, they are learning that new doesn't mean dangerous, it's a good way for them to build confidence and trust in the world. Plus they get to explore and get some exercise!
Bones loved being in the garden, she would explore as much as she can before settling under a plant and chilling there. 🥰

Newest addition to the snake family, Selkie is a slithery snoot that i want to breed for projects in the future. Funny story, i actually accidentally won her on a snake auction 😂 She's a feisty little thing, arrived and bit me twice right off the box. i dont think her breeder handled her very much or tried to socialise her since she hatched. I'll spend the next few months desensitizing her and getting her more calm & confident, will give updates on it!

This is my baby!!! I got her a week after Bones passed. I guess you can say she was a grief purchase but i have no regrets bcs Cloud is the sweetest most calmest and cutest noodle around. His temperament is just *chefs kiss* he's not head shy at all, doesnt flinch at sudden movements, and i love his markings the most.
Some people say he looks like a worm but i think he looks like cloud ☁️☁️☁️

Mushu is my husbands snooter, my hyper-fixation on ball pythons got so intense that he ended up wanting one as well 😂 her markings are absolutely gorgeous! The oranges and yellows are so bright on her, and she has a little skull on her side.

My second snake, and the chillest out of all of them. I got him cause i wanted to raise a younger ball python, he's by far the easiest one out of them. He's very curious about the world & loves to explore. Nothing really bothers him, he's hissed at me once and thats it.

My spiritual baby, she used to communicate with me through dreams. Would always tell me when she's hungry, if something is off in her enclosure, if she's hurt, etc.
At the end she came to me in a dream and told me she was going to get hurt, i saw her with deep wounds all down her body. I was out of town and had my husband check on her ASAP but she was fine. Midnight that evening i got a call that her enclosure door opened and the dogs attacked her, she died sometime in the early morning...
Around the time she passed, i dreamt that i went to check on her and she was already gone. I didn't get to say goodbye properly but she made sure to let me know she was leaving. The connection we had was unlike anything i thought was possible with a snake.
I miss her so much, my spooky noodle bud
