For the past few months Ive had a cornucopia of @mojaveaudio on the road with @hunterhayes . The MA-D capsule captures his voice in a way that feels closer to what he’s used to in a studio rather than the stage, and the lack of a hyped high mid range lets me control the dynamics perfectly. (also wired version on all the bgvs and his backup)
On overheads, the ma301s with all their transformer loving warmth lets me push the detail from cymbals into his mix that he’s never had before (and bonus: their white finished bodies perfectly match the kit too)
