My dad went out with a bang this week… He was my best friend and biggest fan, you probably even met him at one of the shows. He introduced me to all the classics like Reed, T-Bone n Lightnin. Had me singing Big Boss Man before I knew my abc’s. Showed me my first chords and inspired me to write my own music. He lead by example w everything from a paintbrush to making shoes, clothes and guitars. He showed me how to be timeless, because he never stopped evolving. He lived in the moment, never looked back and did it his own way… His presence and experience spoke for themselves but most of all he loved making friends and knew how to keep em laughing. For now, I’m having a hard time without him, so your support really helps remind me to smile.
