Set within the Bishop’s Parlour at Abbotsford Convent, Synthesis explores how we live with design. Colour, material, light and scent held together, not in isolation, but in relationship. At its core, Synthesis is about collective authorship. This isn’t about objects on plinths. It’s about what happens when everything comes together. Many voices, one interior language. Forty - The other milestone of the year; (still strange to say).
Marked on magnetic, magical Aṉangu country at Uluru: the light, the colours, the quiet, a supermoon rising over red earth, time to stop & be. ~ The year - messy in parts - as one would expect - was a good one, nonetheless; a year of reshaping, & re-grounding. One to hold on to. HNY to my tribe.

Big year! A few milestones! On the work front - Hit 10 years at @wowowaarch (!) + 3 projects completed in the last two months of the year (iykyk 😅) — including this very special one: Our repair of Kevin Borland’s iconic Crossman House. Grateful for the amazing clients, the chance to work on/with an architectural gem, and the incredible (& dedicated) team on the tools - @thecarbonist @jp_laws @mood.workshop @mjblandscapegardens & the WOWOWA team Issy Jooste & @_studio.shields Now… a little rest

end of year reminiscing ~ an ode to my fave city, Αθήνα. Equal measures messy and beautiful. A little bit scrappy but bloody resourceful. Those magical and anchoring glimpses of the Parthenon, around street corners. With a heart of gold 💛

A joy to work on from start to finish & a collaboration in the truest sense! From the teamwork/dreamwork design & doco in the studio with the inimitable @rubyshields_design - & a band of collaborators like no other; @bethbuilds at the helm, steering the ship like the bloody pro she is, and @mood.workshop bringing the 🔥 joinery goods. Shout out to @venetianplastergallery_melb and Benny and Ali on the paint rollers! Thanks legends!
