If you know someone who cycles in SE London - particularly a #brompton - please share this post. BE AWARE: A gang on e-bikes armed with angle-grinders are stealing bikes (particularly targeting @bromptonbicycle ) in plain sight and threatening those who try to intervene. Mine was taken from outside @charltonlidolifestyle yesterday from the bike store next to reception whilst staff filmed and other cyclists using the store at the time stood by helpless to do anything. It took them less than a minute to cut through my Sold Secure Gold standard lock. They are a really organised team on e-bikes, very quick, dangerous to approach and undeterred by official bike store locations that have CCTV and people literally using the bike store whilst they are there. If anyone sees my beloved orange & black Brompton with flat handle bars do not approach but please message me and @stolenride
One of the first books I designed, and perhaps Stephen Gill’s 1st? if these are in chronological order. FIELD STUDIES - Some 17 years ago when I was a junior designer at Frost Design London, working with the lovely publisher Chris Boot. A vague memory of getting a ride home from New Cross on the back of Stephen’s scooter going over Tower Bridge. Anyway, a beautifully designed retrospective of Stephen’s work currently on at the @arnolfiniarts in ❤️ #bristol ❤️ go see it 👌
