I am so excited to share my newest baby with you, Zoë Bakes Cookies! ♥️🍪 Now available for PREORDER! Just mention “COOKIES” in the comments and I will DM you a link to the book. It will be delivered on Sept 3rd, just in time for all the fall and holiday cookie baking (and gift giving). Over the past 2+ years I’ve been on a journey to collect my favorite cookie recipes and put them together in this book. Not only did I fall in love with the cookies from my childhood all over again but I also learned some of my own family history along the way. This book became so much more than a collection of great recipes, the cookies tell the story of my path as a baker and perhaps most importantly, it’s an ode to my ancestors who baked before me. 🙏 There are 75 delicious cookie, bar and brownie recipes from my Vermont Hippie Roots, My College Cookie Company, my Granny’s Recipe Boxes, Bubbe’s Letters, and the Midwestern Traditions that have become my own. I hope you will join me on the journey of cookies that have defined my life. I guess you could say this is my Eras Tour of Cookies! ;) 💃🏼🍪 - there is for sure a soundtrack! Thank YOU all for the love, inspiration and support you provide, I am so grateful to share this whole adventure with you. I am thankful for my incredible team at @tenspeedpress for helping me create the book of my dreams. Again! 🙌🏽 There is a village of people who worked on this book with me, I love you all, and @stephanijohns0n thank you for being there at every step, you bring the hard work and joy! xo And finally my family who ate SO many cookies, I love you to the moon and back! 😘 #cookies #zoebakescookies #books #cookbooks

Maple Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies and my dad’s bootleg syrup are featured in this week’s “”Extras” newsletter. My dad has been tapping maple tree for as long as I can remember. Back in the North East Kingdom of Vermont the practice was an annual event enjoyed by all the neighbors. When he moved to the city, he didn’t stop tapping the trees, but it’s far from a normal site! 🤣 🍁Comment “MAPLE” or “🥜COOKIES” and I’ll DM you a link to the paid newsletter where you will find the recipe and a video of my dad collecting his bootleg syrup! 🍁

Baked Alaska! It’s such a fun dessert with all the summer vibes of an ice cream cake and the beautiful golden exterior of torched meringue. Plus, it’s an excuse to use my favorite kitchen tool, a blowtorch, to achieve that amazing toasty exterior. 🔥I have six different Baked Alaska recipes on my site, from Coffee, Bourbon & Chocolate to Raspberry & Lime Sorbet. I hope you’ll give one of them a try! Comment “Baked Alaska” and I’ll DM you a link to my FREE newsletter with all of these recipes! homemade baked Alaska recipe, frozen desserts

My month in Italy (in 45 seconds)! ♥️🇮🇹 Week 1: A mind blowing adventure in Parma with new friends, great cheese, fab ham, a Duchess of a cake, almond crumble, homemade pasta and DOP vinegar. Week 2: Graham met me in Florence and we crisscrossed Tuscany & Umbria, eating, gazing at art and climbing what seemed like endless stairs in search of the perfect view! We found it! Week 3: A Roman holiday with my mom! We danced on the Spanish steps, saw the ancient ruins, the Vatican, tried on vintage couture, ate pizza, gelato and my mom fell hard for Cacio e pepe! What a Mother’s Day trip! 🙏🏽 Week 4: A magical journey eating and exploring Sicily with a group of joyous travelers. Ortigia as our base we ventured the region to find Caravaggio, seafood, almonds, olive oil, cannoli, granita, pasta, a puppet show and volcanic wines. I could not be more grateful for this time in Italy and for the opportunity to learn more about the incredible food culture and spend time with some of the nicest people I have ever met! Thanks to @viarosaitaly for developing these exquisite tours for me! ♥️ ✈️Comment “TRAVEL” if you’d like to learn more about the next culinary tours I have coming up! 🍰🥐🍝🥂🍻🍷🍦Come explore and eat with me!

Rhubarb Recipes! To say I love rhubarb is an understatement. It feels so ubiquitous to anyone who grew up in the cold half of the country, but for those who live below the snow belt, it’s a complete nothingburger. Rhubarb, unless forced in a greenhouse, grows only where it gets cold enough to have a prolonged frost. I grew up in Vermont, where I thought it was merely a weed. We’d come across it by accident and then turn it into pie. When I moved to Minneapolis, I discovered people planted it in their gardens deliberately. I now, with the help of my dad, have several varieties growing in my small urban garden. In fact, it is the only edible plant, other than herbs, that I grow. For those of you who have never tasted or heard of rhubarb, it is a long stalk, much like celery, that is red, pink, and/or green and has a ginormous leaf. It is technically a vegetable, but I never bother putting it in anything but dessert. The stalk is mouth-puckeringly sour and the perfect match for sugar. The leaf is poisonous and must be discarded. If you’ve never tried it, you are in for such a treat. Comment “RHUBARB” and I’ll send you a link to my FREE newsletter, which features a bunch of rhubarb recipes. Poached, roasted, baked, pureed, paired with strawberries, brown butter, whipped cream, or cheesecake, there is something for everyone!

Churros with Chocolate Sauce by @husbandsthatcook ! These are so easy and fantastic. I make them all the time because they’re freakin’ deelish, fast and FUN! In their book, Adam and Ryan don’t use any sugar in the recipe and actually suggest serving them not only with their decadent hot chocolate sauce, but also with a savory soup! 💥🤯 You know me, I love my sweets, so I dredged the churros in cinnamon sugar and added some cajeta, just for $#!+s and giggles. Not sorry I did! Comment CHURRO and I’ll send you a link to the FREE recipe! cinco de mayo desserts, mexican desserts

This fudgy chocolate cake with ginger scented flan recipe is called the “impossible” cake, not because it is difficult to make, but because of the magical flip it does while baking. Comment “CHOCOFLAN” and I will DM you a link to the paid recipe and all of my T&T for successful baking! I hope you’ll come be extra with us! ♥️

Flan! This silky smooth flan is such comfort food for me, and is enough to brighten any day. Flan is one of those simply perfect desserts that is incredibly easy to make, but you have to know how to bake it properly in order to achieve the velvety texture that makes it one of the most popular desserts in my house. It’s a fun one to whip up anytime, but Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, which gives you an excuse to give it a try! ☀️ Comment FLAN and I’ll send you a link to my newsletter with this FREE recipe + a few others to make in May. flan, churros, tres leches, mexican desserts
