To celebrate my daughter Neshama’s arrival, here is a new song entitled “Elohai Neshama,” from my new album Zeh Hayom. It is dedicated to her. She’s too little to sing along with me yet, but she definitely likes it!

I composed after hearing a beautiful teaching from Rabbi Shefa Gold on this verse from Song of Songs. She teaches that we always have access to the Promised Land of milk and honey--it is always available to us.
