There’s something powerful about getting to a place where your own presence feels like enough. ✨ No chasing. No forcing. No needing the room to validate who you are. Just me…smiling, growing, healing, becoming. And honestly? Being pouring into me lately has felt more peaceful. Because I know who I am now. I know what I carry. I know what God has brought me through. Stepping into a bigger version of yourself is scary. It asks you to release old versions, old comfort zones, old stories. Some people come into your life and you just know there is a bigger purpose connected to the relationship. Years ago, I saw @zjcaressa being a part of my retreats before this retreat even existed. Watching her lead the fitness portion this weekend felt like witnessing something God had already shown me long before the room was created. What makes this even more meaningful to me is that I prayed and fasted for every single woman who walked into my retreat. I knew there was something waiting for each of them in that room, even if they did not fully know it yet. And while so many people know her as the powerhouse, world-renowned Zumba instructor, I’m grateful for the kind of friendship where trust goes deeper than titles or what people see on the outside. The vulnerability, openness, love, and support this weekend meant more to me than words can explain. I am so blessed that she was blessed because she truly is a blessing to everyone connected to her. And I know without a doubt that God has so much in store for her. I cannot wait to watch everything He does in her life.

One of my favorite rhythms to teach… SALSAAAAAA. 💃🏽❤️ But you knew that right?! 😂 There’s something so special about finding a song people instantly connect to and creating movement that allows them to simply settle into the music, breathe, smile, and enjoy the moment. As an educator, I’ve learned that not every song has to be packed with layers to create magic in the room. Sometimes the most beautiful moments come from recognizable music, simple movement, connection, and feeling. ✨ I love that I can teach choreography like this in both my regular classes and my ARORA classes at LT because music and joy truly are universal.
