It took me three days to start and finish this project. The fabric on the headband of my old headphones was falling apart, and I didn’t just want to save them - I wanted to make them look special.
For a month I couldn’t decide whether to sew or crochet a new cover, and then it hit me: wait… I can do macramé!
Well, I could. Eight years ago. I opted for trying.
Funny how my hands still remembered how to work with threads, it didn’t take long to pick it up again. I enjoyed the process and the result.

My fav Mx Hand is performing again in my new meditative stop motion/plasticine animation

The climate shifts on my South American trip have been wild - I’ve never experienced such a temperature range in one journey. Normally, when escaping winter for a long trip, I just pack shorts, skirts, a couple of light dresses, a bathing suit, a pair of sandals, and barefoot shoes.
This time though, along with my usual bathing suit and sandals, I had to pack a feather winter jacket and warm trekking shoes. Luckily I didn’t leave my warm stuff in Patagonia as I initially planned - I wanted to free up space in my backpack. I thought the closer I get to the equator, the warmer it would be. How wrong I was!
Patagonia? - Freezing.
Buenos Aires? - Warm.
Iguazú? - Hot.
Salta and the Atacama Desert? - Hot during the day, chilly at night.
Same with the Uyuni Salt Flat.
La Paz? - Cold.
Cochabamba? - Warm.
Oruro? - Cold again.
Santa Cruz? - Back to hot.
It’s crazy how my body has to keep adapting, but honestly, I feel like it’s making me stronger.
La Paz was intense, and though one week isn’t much for such a big and diverse city, I fell in love with it. But you know, sometimes love isn’t easy - the air quality is bad, it’s quite cold, and the altitude makes everything unpredictable. Still, I’d recommend everyone visit La Paz at least once - you’ll get what I mean.
It’s like that hot date you know you can’t have a long-term relationship with - they do too many drugs, talk too loud, and your schedules just don’t align. But damn, they’re stunning, so you just sit back and enjoy the view.
Seeing La Paz from above is just incredible, and getting lost in its colorful streets is just as fun. It’s truly the most unique city I’ve ever seen.

It's one of the most stunning places I've been to. Perito Moreno glacier is 70 m high and 4.5 km wide. It's a part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and I can't even imagine how much cubic kilometres of water are in there. It's incredible!
The same as volcanoes, it feels alive. It's literally breathing and changing every day - one can see it with the naked eye. One can hear the loud sounds of ice falling into the water as it breaks off from this massive block. And it may disappear one day.
Think about it
