Solo exhibition coming — Seated by Water
For years, I have been drawn to the spaces around water. Pools, riversides, bathtubs. Water invites both relaxation and reflection. Sitting by water is at once stillness and movement.
This exhibition is inspired by the post-impressionist artist Georges Seurat’s “Seated Nude.” I used film photography to translate the quietness and emotion of painting into images. The process was both planned and spontaneous. From Glasgow to Budapest to Paris, this journey often felt like wandering between boundaries.
It wasn’t always easy, especially with strict rules for pool photography in the UK. But the process became a test of patience and curiosity.
The final works focus on people and objects by the water. The emotions, gestures, and glances during moments of stillness—these details might connect to each viewer’s own memories. In those “seated by water” moments, there are countless hidden emotions: What are people thinking? How do they touch the water? When they are not swimming, where do their eyes wander? When we are not busy with life, what does it mean for humans to sit quietly by the water?
All the film has been developed and scanned by myself. Seated by Water will be exhibited in different countries in the future.
I hope these fragments by the water might evoke your own memories and reflections.

Showing this work here feels extra special. Glasgow has been my home for years, and it’s where my photography grew.
I met my best friends here, and I met people I love. Friendship, romance, lectures, uni life, my passion for photography, skateboarding, my own style, my personality… so much of Zinuo was built here.
I’m so happy that so many of my lovely, sweetest, coolest friends came to the exhibition. I felt so loved.

It isn’t exactly comfortable, but it’s compelling. The walls limit every gesture; eating becomes play, a choreography of small movements. Time and place fall away, only the body meeting the edges that hold it.”

SaltSpace Gallery, 38 Albert Rd, G42 8DN Opening night: 24th Nov 2025, 7 - 9pm (free entry) Exhibition dates: 24 - 25th Nov 2025 “By Water”is a collection of film photography and oil painting used to explore the threshold between the stillness and motion found in body’s of water (manmade or natural) throughout Scotland, Paris and Budapest. Having to work around strict pool regulations in the UK limited access to photos in pools but not the continuing curiosity to capture these moments.
Inspired by Georges Seurat’s Seated Nude, the images focus on expressions, gestures, and small arrangements by water - capturing details that may echo a viewer’s own memories. When we sit beside water, what settles and what drifts? In our human story, our dependence on water and the emotions it draws out at its edge - may simply be reflections of inner life itself.
Everyday scenes of relaxation, playfulness, reunion and parting, family gatherings or even quiet solitude- unfold in the same shared space, lightly connected by water. Within that flowing tension, bodies fall into unguarded gestures between pause and motion. Water invites rest and attention; it holds stillness and movement at once.

Breakfast in the Cabinet
Everyone eats breakfast on the bed, in the kitchen, at the table.
So why not with my fav cabinet?
In this tiny space, just me, relaxed, but also a little cramped.
I can’t say it’s a great experience, but it’s interesting.
Every movement is limited by the walls around me.
Eating turns into a playful activity.
Time and place no longer matter.
Cameron’s first single “Dilate” is such a beautiful song, soft, gentle, and mature, with every beat perfectly matching the mood.
“Dilate was recorded at Gloworm Recording Studio in the vibrant city of Glasgow and features two friends on bass and drums. Cameron wrote, produced and mixed the track and created the artwork and mini live session films that accompany it.
