2017年06月26日 Film photography: "80s MongKok Kids". 📷: @tashcsy I honestly have a weak spot for this era that my parents grew up in. Many people my age might have grown up with parents listening to The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson and the like, but I can only remember the car rides with the old school and iconic Chinese ballads on. It was a blooming era of film, photography, economic growth and music. These days I feel like the cultural and artistically expressive side of Hong Kong has greatly deminished, yet I for some reason see that there's a movement towards a more culturally aware and nostalgic lifestyle switch. I hope to be able to support local artists and brands to reclaim all that's left after all the revolts and the cultural revolution. I wish to see China to take its history back, not in a political way, but more in a humanitarian and enlightening way.
