#tangkhulnaocollection2025 was more than a hair collection for me & everyone it spoke for.
As Tangkhul Naos across the globe celebrated and dissected this baby, I soaked it all in. This was meant to stir.
Some will exoticize it, some will cry, some will believe harder and some may remember a forgotten story of the collective we are as humans.
Today as the state I call home, burns daily, with lives lost over the same old story of war/greed/power, a part of me cries and thrives when this collection is celebrated.
Amidst the darkness though there is always sunshine waiting somewhere.
And just like that, Justina became my sunshine. Her approach to why the Chonkhom healed so many parts of my heart. And she asked for the old traditional red; which was honestly more beet root than the tomato red we flaunt now. My heart is full!

40 years alive!
Yet another chapter closed.
The journey so far has been so precious.
All I see is growth and the turmoil the outside wants to create.
All I seek is more experiences to take me back to the beginning.
In the beginning, we were born to live and learn.
I hope I never stop learning and counting my blessings .
And more important is to be happy knowing that I only give time to those who truly love with no human attachments. Whether you are here or gone from this realm, I love you for this life’s lesson.

Shape of a haircut is everything.
As a younger hairdresser, I struggled then fell in love with the deeper understanding of shape. Because when the haircut grows out well, the satisfaction is of a different level.
Here is a break down on what my take on compressing an existing shape for the future shape.
