Meet the morning crew🤎 The assignment was to create a video to help show an organization what it feels like to walk into our business , and this kinda sums it up. We’ll always do our best with the food, and definitely with the service. They’re the fun shift! Love them!

You get a taco, you get a taco, you get a taco! 💃🕺 Last night, @rasconforsenate celebrated her birthday in her hometown with a magician, a comedian, and the community!! It was perfect. She grew up here in El Sereno raised by her immigrant grandmother, and has spend her whole career fighting for communities like ours. Let’s go show up for her!! Vote for @rasconforsenate for State Senate District 26 — ballots are out now.🤎 Thank you to everyone who came out last night! We’re keeping the same energy all weekend…walk in dancing and get a free taco all weekend! 🤎

Our first catering newsletter we accidentally sent at 10PM turned into 8 shifts, 2 locations, and 1,300 people in 4 days. We had been waiting for the perfect brandig, the perfect time, the perfect graphics… and then we were like, fuck it, we’re just going to start sending a newsletter. Then this happens🙏 . @grifols_official gave us our biggest catering opportunity to date. It was mentally and physically a lot, we’re still a little tired! But we’re grateful for the opportunity and would do it again! We’re ready for bigger caterings. Call us, DM us—give us the opportunity. We got you ❤️

Councilmember Jurado was proud to attend the El Sereno Women in Business Panel! 🌟 El Sereno is buzzing with new and legacy businesses that give our neighborhoods their heart and soul. From the El Sereno Night Market to Evil Cooks, Green Grocers, and Tirzah Mexi-Terranean, women are leading the way. Driving economic growth and keeping our community vibrant. It was powerful being in a room of women leaders. You could feel the hustle, the heart, the risk, and the resilience that it takes to start and grow a business. Small businesses aren’t just part of our economy, they are the places where culture thrives, neighbors connect, and dreams take root. We celebrated the women leading that charge, breaking barriers, creating opportunities, and building not just for themselves, but for all of El Sereno.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for our 1st Women in Business Panel. For the women, for El Sereno, for our community to come together and learn. What was meant for our back patio became something bigger than us!! 🤎 Hearing the women speak reminded us why this matters, and how beautiful and powerful their stories are. To everyone who supported, spoke, and showed up, thank you 🤍💐 📸: @servando_captures This event would not have been possible without our amazing sponsors: Avida & Associates, Superior Nut, Women Collective Circle MS, Succulent, Sharoni Dog Walks, Inclusive Action, Elemento Igniting Marketing + Design, Stomping Ground LA (our host), Jacqueline Alcazar – Berkshire Hathaway, Servants Captures, Alpha and Omega Income Tax & Accounting Services, Bella, Dulce Acosta (El Sereno Chamber Community Chair) USC, and Kate Mason (El Sereno Chamber).

We’re excited to announce our guest lecturer, Dr. Angelica Gutierrez. Born and raised in Lincoln Heights, she’ll be speaking on imposter syndrome and impostorization. Her lecture is powerful and very healing — it puts words to things so many of us feel but don’t always know how to express. Having her here in El Sereno feels like a dream! It feels like she was meant to be part of it. We’re really grateful to have her join us 💕
