It was truly a humbling experience to witness my dear friends @lloydknight and @xin_ying_dance rehearsing Martha Graham Dance Company’s iconic work The Night Journey ahead of their season at New York City Center next week.
I have so much respect for everyone who performs this piece, there’s an extraordinary level of intelligence in the movement, deep commitment, and a radiant light in their hearts. I was incredibly moved and am still carrying that energy with me.

It’s been such a fulfilling Women’s Month… filled with meaningful projects, quality time with family, and the joy of watching Zia experience the beauty of the ballet.
It’s a reminder that strength, grace, and purpose can exist in every part of our lives, both in what we build and in the moments we cherish. And I’m especially thankful for the women who have inspired me and helped shape my journey and my life.

Happy exactly one year from now! 🎉🤟🏼 Postpartum was and still is definitely a challenge for me as a ballerina. The human body is incredibly resilient. There were days I saw no progress, days my body hurt, and moments it felt easier to walk away.
