Debuting a new role is always a special and exciting experience, but doing it with Maestro Riccardo Muti in Milano has to be the craziest thing that has happened to me in my entire life. This experience has made me feel every emotion of Don Ottavio and helped me understand the whole opera in ways so profound it’s almost unimaginable. The enormous insight I got from working with such a genius had shaped me to be a better artist. I am incredibly grateful for my fellow colleagues, absolutely outstanding artists but in front of all, amazing and compassionate people. I’ve been waiting for this delivery for quite some time… The very first CD I’ve been involved in! And when it finally arrived… I completely forgot to share it with you! ☹️ Back in April, I had the great pleasure of working in Mondovì with Academia Montis Regalis, under the direction of my dear @chiaracattanicembalo , recording a new CD for the July–August edition of @amadeus_magazine . 🎶 The recording features Alessandro Scarlatti’s absolutely stunning oratorio Humanità e Lucifero, in which I had the honour of portraying Lucifero, alongside the wonderful soprano @anita_giovanna_rosati as Humanità. It was truly a joy to study and record this masterpiece. ❤️ You can find the July–August issue of Amadeus Magazine on their official website! The only downside is that they don’t ship it to Slovenia…! 🫠

It’s been quite a journey here in Ravenna, working on 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥’𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚 with Ottavio Dantone and the incredible @accademiabizantina , under the visionary direction of @pier.luigi.pizzi .
