I can’t believe I’m actually saying “13.” Feels like yesterday you were little enough to ride on my shoulders, and now somehow you’re taller, funnier, quicker with comebacks, and officially a teenager. I’m not sure when that happened, but I’d appreciate it if time could slow down.
You make life so much more fun just by being you. You’re hilarious, strong-willed, full of personality, and have a way of making everyone around you happy. Watching you grow up has been one of the greatest privileges, and I hope you always know how unbelievably proud I am of you.
No matter how grown up you get, how many eye rolls I earn, or how many times you remind me I’m “old and bald I am,” you will always be my little girl. Always.

What’s one thing you’re grateful for this December?
Lately I’ve been realizing how important it is to slow down, to truly look at life, and to take time to remember what matters most — especially during a season that feels extra full and busy. As moms, it’s easy to get caught up in the doing, the planning, the magic-making… and forget to pause and be present in it.
I’m grateful for all of you who show up with love and encouragement.
Grateful for my little family who fills my days with warmth, laughter, and meaning — even in the chaos.
Grateful for my body, my health, and the ability to dance and perform — to move, to feel, to express joy in ways I never want to take for granted.
Grateful for the chance to live out so many of my dreams… and excited knowing there are still more ahead.
And above all, grateful for Jesus — for His light, His love, and the peace He brings.
This time of year reminds me to give more freely, appreciate more deeply, and open my heart to all the beauty this season can bring.
