It’s bittersweet to think how just the other night I was paying tribute to Michael Jackson for a great cause only to wake up this morning and hear the news about Q’s passing. A man who inspired countless artists, genres, and sounds. Including myself. Quincy’s work showed me that you don’t need a deep voice to be a man. You just need to know how to use it. I will carry the essence of your craft in every piece of music that I touch and allow others to blossom because of it, the same way I blossomed when I first heard “Off The Wall.”
